My parents make their first appearances of the season on tonight’s video. Will my dad make a fool of himself on the live broadcast?
Spoiler alert: he won’t!
Nate’s got his two opponents in a “crush” situation – both should just wager everything.

Sarah Flamini (1x) |
Nate Ross |
Bryn Keating |
| 9,600 | 14,600 | 8,300 |
I was pulling for Nate to go bigger on that late Daily Double – 6,000 (half of his total) was my off-the-cuff instinct, although looking back I might have gone for a grand or two more.
What actually happened
| Sarah | Nate | Bryn | |||
| 9,600 | 14,600 | 8,300 | |||
| 9,595 | 4,700 | 2,500 | |||
| 5 | 19,300 | 5,800 | |||
| min | max | ||||
| 7,001* | 4,601 | 4,999 | 6,301* | ||
It didn’t matter, though – he got the sole solve and will return Monday. (Bryn suffered the same fate as my mother – she knew the miniseries, just not the right name.)
