Mystery Quiz #11: any questions?
Congrats to HessJa and SingerJ2 for tying atop a 99-player field in KW Mystery #11. This was the third-largest field for a KW Mystery Quiz to date.
“Mystery” was particularly appropriate here, since each prompt consisted of question marks. All of the answers were actually questions; the hidden secondary theme was that the number of question marks in the clue corresponded to the number of words in the proper response.
KW Mystery #12 is still open. As always, it closes Sunday evening.

This was a tricky one, and I’d re-do it if I could. The prompt has 17 question marks; the MCW is only 16 words, and is incorrect anyway: “Tootsie Pop” is the proper name of the item.
I did accept one alternative answer:
MR. OWL, HOW MANY LICKS DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO THE CENTER OF A TOOTSIE POP?
as it has the proper number of words *and* all of the words appear in that order in the commercial. In re-writing this question, I’d include shots of the character asking all of the other animals.
