On Friday evening, I gave the commencement speech at my high school. It was quite a humbling experience – nothing like speaking into a camera, I’ll tell you that much.
Here’s a recap if you’re interested. Here’s another.
And now, on to the “real” recap.
Lucky for me, I didn’t miss much tonight. Dark Lord has win #3 in the bag.

Dark Lord Harris-Fain |
Mike Luca |
Daniel Lee |
| 17,600 | 3,200 | 5,200 |
Daniel made a bold True Daily Double, putting up $9,000 on a $1,600 geography clue when Dark Lord had just over twice that.
I liked the wager a lot – even though, all things the same, he could have made up that ground in other ways. I’ll return later with some analysis.
What actually happened
| Dark Lord | Mike | Daniel | |||
| 17,600 | 3,200 | 5,200 | |||
| 2,400 | 1,974 | 1,400 | |||

Dark Lord has now won 3 games and $63,000, and gets the weekend to rest. As do I.

That puts Dark Lord at 11th on the ToC list, doesn’t it?
The horrible thing is that after he finally loses a game, there’s no way I’ll remember Dark Lord’s actual name.
