Daily analysis, Wednesday, April 16

Our current champion might be the anti-Chu. Does this make her an anti-hero/anti-villain?

With two categories left in Double Jeopardy! and both Daily Doubles still in play, you need to be hunting those down! Matt was the only player who appreciated this, but Sandie, with a big (but not insurmountable) lead, still wandered her way into them.

Sandie Baker: 26,000
Matt Farr: 4,600
Kathryn Schoenberger: 5,800

The Final Jeopardy! category: TV MUSIC

Sandie’s got #6 in the bag, but we’ve got a fight for second.

Basic strategy

Sandie can risk up to 14,400.

Kathryn should wager 3,400 to cover Matt.

Matt should wager between 1,201 and 2,199.

Mind games

I’d be OK with Kathryn wagering 1,000 and Matt wagering 201 to account for these possibilities (which would give him upside potential on any wager, assuming he gets it right in the case of a 1,000 wager).

Has there ever been a week where the players were totally shut out on Finals? (Power Players excepted, har har har.)

The Final Jeopardy! clue for April 16, 2014 (TV MUSIC):

“CRYSTAL BLUE PERSUASION” BY TOMMY JAMES & THE SHONDELLS WAS HEARD IN THIS DRAMA’S “GLIDING OVER ALL” EPISODE

Correct response: What is Breaking Bad?
