It’s a battle for the extra $1,000 allotted to the runner-up.

Rani can wager up to 4,200 to preserve her victory. It all depends on how confident she is with the category.

Sarah has to wager 4,200 to keep Adam at bay in the fight for second. Any more is pointless.

Adam should wager between 801 (to beat an “unsafe” wager by Sarah) and 3,799 (to stay above Sarah if they’re both wrong).
