- (1/4) Shawn is in third place in this tight game. What should he do?

- (2/4) Rule #2: After calculating Fred’s minimum wager of 6,800 (to cover Courtney) and Courtney’s minimum wager of 7,600 (to cover Shawn), we see what happens if they’re both wrong. In that case, Shawn will need to have at least 2,000 left over.

- (3/4) Rule #3: If Shawn wagers 1,100, he will cover both Fred and Courtney if each wagers zero. Therefore, Shawn should wager between 1,100 and 5,700.
