It was a lazy day at my parents’ house, as this photo of three dogs will attest. Let’s hope our Jeopardy! matchup isn’t similarly sluggish this evening.
It wasn’t – I was particularly impressed by Patricia’s ability to dig herself out of the hole. Nice work with that True Daily Double, as well.

This was a tricky Final clue – if you got stuck on the wrong track (unintended reference to a possible third candidate), even if you realized the years were way off, it would be tough to recover.
I didn’t do the math ahead of time, but I was very pleased with tonight’s wagers as they came up! Dee would have been slightly better off with 3,601 (in case Patricia goes for 1,799, to force Dee to get it right) but all told, this was a good night.
