Night two of 2000s Week: Vijay Balse, Roger Craig, and Stephanie Jass. Here’s the preview. And away we go…![]()
Roger lived by the True Daily Doubles today, and almost took the game before Final. Vijay is hanging on by a thread – but all you need is a chip and a chair.
Vijay Balse: 8,800
Roger Craig: 17,200
Stephanie Jass: 7,800
The Final Jeopardy! category: FAMOUS WOMEN
Alex said the triple-miss on a 2,000 clue was “no harm, no foul”, but had everyone just kept the buzzers down, Stephanie would still be in contention. Alas.
Roger should wager 401.
Vijay should wager everything (but at least 8,000).
Stephanie is eliminated, unfortunately; might as well go for broke.
All three players nailed the Final and made the right wagers. Nice game!
The Final Jeopardy! clue for April 1, 2014 (FAMOUS WOMEN):
THIS CRUSADER, IN 1906: “MORE THAN 60 YEARS OF HARD STRUGGLE FOR A LITTLE LIBERTY, & THEN TO DIE WITHOUT IT SEEMS SO CRUEL”
Correct response: Who was Susan B. Anthony?
