Joe almost has it locked up, but not quite. I can tell you from personal experience that this is a scary situation. All of that hard work could end up for naught.
Joe should wager between 400 (to cover Chip) and 2,400 to stay above Dana).
Chip needs to wager at least 5,200, but might as well go all in.
Dana is out of contention, so she should focus on second place. Anything leaving her at least 801 is good.

I feel sorry for someone with a not-quite-lock going into FJ, too! Philosophical question- if you’re going to lose, is it preferable to have it come in fast and quick? Guess losing in FJ is better than being locked out going into it!
I don’t think there’s any “easy” way to lose a game! But since you asked, I’d be leading a close game going into Final, and face an obscure triple stumper.
