Daily analysis, Tuesday, January 14
Oh hey, look! My brother is back.![]()
It was an interesting game.
Michelle DeGrothy: 8,400
Sarah McNitt: 11,800
Osei Boakye: 2,400
The Final Jeopardy! category: OCCUPATIONAL FIRST NAMES
What does that category even mean?
Sarah should go for 5,000 and the lock-out victory. She’ll have an alternative wager, as suggested in my new Part Five.
Michelle can wager up to 1,600 if she wants to go small, or between 5,200 and 8,400 (preferably the largest amount) if she thinks Sarah will play some mind games.
Osei is out of contention, but should wager at least 801 in case Michelle goes for the larger range.
In the end, … well, you’ll just have to watch the video. WHAT?
The Final Jeopardy! clue for January 14, 2014 (OCCUPATIONAL FIRST NAMES):
IT’S ONCE AGAIN IN DEMAND REPAIRING OLD STONE INFRASTRUCTURE, & IS 1 OF THE 5 MOST POPULAR U.S. BOYS’ NAMES TODAY
Correct response: What is Mason?

Jeopardy! would be a better show if everyone was forced to give their responses by shouting the “WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!”
