It’s night two of this year’s Teacher Tournament semifinals – who will return on Thursday?
I thought the players last night were scared of the Daily Doubles. Tonight they left them both until the final three clues!
Jill found one right before the end-of-round bell sounded, and she put herself in a “crush” position against Chris, meaning she can only lose if she misses FJ and Chris gets it.

I had a few qualms with the clues in this game, one of which was the neg against Jill for “scholarly” when the judges wanted “professorial” – that should have been counted as correct. You can’t blame the players for the writers’ poor work.

Sad that another game had to come down to a Teen-caliber Final, but that’s good news for the player in the lead, particularly when she earned that position. Congrats, Jill! Who will join her and Kaberi on Thursday and Friday for our two-day total-point affair?
