The first night of a two-day total-point affair is maybe the best situation for me: I don’t have to do anything at all!
It’s basically just a Daily Double that everyone gets to play.
Damn – I look really young in that video. And that “Zerg rush” triple stumper made me feel even older. I used to play StarCraft all the time in high school.
Explains a lot, doesn’t it?

Pretty even game tonight; Sarah, who uncovered all three Daily Doubles, could have taken better advantage of the second two.

The results
| Sarah | Niki | Sam | |||
| 18,000 | 13,600 | 11,000 | |||
| 4,001 | 5,000 | 11,000 | |||
| 22,001 | 18,600 | 22,000 | |||
Remember, we can effectively cut the differences in half, so Sarah has a 50-cent lead on Sam. If they end up tied tomorrow heading into Final, she’ll have the upper hand.
To be in the lead tomorrow, Niki needs to be ahead of both Sam and Sarah by 1,701. That’s a pittance in a game like Jeopardy!.
It’s anyone’s game! Looking forward to it.
