It’s the middle of the week. How will tonight’s wagers turn out?

Tonight’s discussion points:

Notes 20160629

Harris could make it four, but he’ll need some help.

Harris

Stutman (3x)

Addie

Kluemper

Christie

O’Shaughnessy

7,200 3,600 14,000

Addie had just lost 2,000 on the Penultimate Wager – the proper wager would have been all-in, but at least she wagered enough to put herself into contention heading into Final.

What actually happened

Harris Addie Christie
7,200 3,600 14,000
7,000 3,558 401
14,200 42 14,401
min max
6,801* 401 6,799

Harris couldn’t pull the win from far behind, like he did on Monday; instead, it’s Christie who will try to make a run of her own. He’s on the ToC tracker for the time being, however…

The Final Jeopardy! clue

U.S. STATE GEOGRAPHY
OF THE CONTIGUOUS STATES, THESE 2 COASTAL STATES HAVE ELEVATION CHANGES WITHIN THEM OF MORE THAN 14,000 FEET

Addie’s FJ wager was very poor…she had no hope of finishing first and her only chance of moving up to second was if Harris got it wrong. Harris is forced to wager 6,801(at minimum) leaving him 399 on the downside – therefore Addie should cap at 3,200 leaving her 400 if they are both wrong.
