We had our first really awful wager of the year on Monday. Will we rectify that tonight?

Kudos to Ryan for making that huge True Daily Double, doubling his $9,000 total. He takes the lead heading into Final.

First-order calculations

Lisa doesn’t have enough to be in contention, but Marcus can stay above Ryan’s lockout wager if they both miss.

Second-order calculations

However, that 4,800 wager would put Marcus exactly at 19,200 – Ryan’s total. (Marcus has exactly 3/4 of Ryan’s score – formerly a wager-to-tie situation.)

Nothing much going on with the zero wagers, so we’ll skip those.

I guess I can understand the all-in wager; it makes sense if Marcus wants to cover a zero out of Ryan without risking a tiebreaker. However, it’s unlikely that Ryan is going to pass up the lockout wager, given his aggressive Daily Double play.
