Greg Seroka’s back, and he’s looking for number eight! Will he survive Monday, the day that claimed Alex Jacob and Julia Collins, the previous two players to sweep a full week? The Final Wager – May 4, 2015

Well, anyone who looked at the Jeopardy! YouTube account this weekend already knew that he’d fall tonight, because someone put up his “Winners Circle” interview. Nice job, guys!

At least it’s not a nail-biter, I suppose.

Because Greg had a higher score than did Praggya at the end of the first round, he carries the tiebreaker for second place. Maybe he’ll be generous with this category?

Funny enough, Scott had a Penultimate Wager, bet the minimum allowed, and got it right. (I probably would have done the same thing on a philately category.)

I’ve got some time to kill on tonight’s post, so please enjoy this reenactment of the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight on Mike Tyson’s PunchOut!!:

Greg Seroka: over $180,000 in seven victories, and the top slot in the TOC field right now. He seemed liked a nice guy, to boot!

Oh, yeah – did I help you to get one of tonight’s clues?

If I’m not mistaken, not only did Julia, Alex, and Greg all lose on a Monday, they all did so in the first game of the second day of a week’s taping session. Can’t infer causation, of course, but just saying…

  2. I was just about to point the same thing out. I’d love to see a “By the Numbers” on whether challengers have significantly more success on any particular day of the week.

    • Could do that, but because of occasional vagaries in taping schedule, M-F don’t always align with a single taping day

What do you think?
