I watched Friday’s Teen Tournament quarterfinal match at Regis High School on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where contestant Joe Taglic was having a viewing party with around 100 friends, classmates, and relatives. After, he was generous enough to sit down with me to take a few questions on his experience and his personal plans.
How did he prepare for the tournament? What does he intend to study at MIT, where he’ll matriculate next month? What’s it like watching yourself on TV with dozens of other people?
Find out all of those answers and more! (Click here for my overall tournament preview.)
Special thanks to Joe, Thomas A. Hein, Fr. Philip G. Judge, and Regis High School.
