preliminary round

We’ve reached the middle of our three-semifinal slate. Will finalist number two hail from the first or second decade? The Final Wager - May 13, 2014

Second > first + first.

Brad Rutter: 32,800
Tom Cubbage: 6,600
Leszek Pawlowicz: 5,200

The Final Jeopardy! category: MONARCHS

Brad demonstrated why grabbing the Daily Doubles is so pivotal. He would have had things locked up even had he missed either of the two he answered correctly, but even more important is he kept either Tom or Leszek from mounting a charge.

We’ll see him in the Finals against Ken and tomorrow’s winner. Will it be Roger, Pam, or Colby? I can’t wait to find out!

The Final Jeopardy! clue for May 13, 2014 (MONARCHS):
